Full-time Technician

We are seeking a full-time Technician to join our team, working across various sites in Australia. This role is crucial in ensuring the operation, maintenance, and performance of electrical energy assets. The Technician will also provide technical support, assist with system analysis, and contribute to remediation strategies and new site development.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on energy systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime.
Conduct testing and inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and part usage.
Provide technical support to team members and clients as required.
Ensure safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed in all operations.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Work collaboratively with other departments to address technical challenges.
Assist with inventory management and ordering necessary parts.
Report any operational issues or concerns to senior technicians or management.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related position
Hold an Australian Electrical License - (preferably licensed in the State of employment)
HV Switching Ticket very Desirable.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
Australian Electrical License (preferably licensed in the state of employment).
HV Switching Ticket (highly desirable).
Hands-on experience with energy system operation and maintenance.
Strong technical skills in fault diagnosis and problem resolution.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and civil components in renewable energy systems.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant technical certifications or diploma in renewable energy or a related field.
